The Fish Farming Project

Greenthumb CBO undertook the first fish farming project in 2016, in an area called Manyani, Nakuru. This project was a pilot project that was aimed at increasing awareness of fish farming and agribusiness among the youth. 
The project was also aimed at increasing the experience of the group in fish farming as well as understanding the fish farming market.
With this done, the group is currently working with Ustadi foundation in a program dubbed "Vijabiz" as well as closely with the Nakuru County Fisheries department to set up a fish farm at their new location in Lanet, nakuru County.
